Enterprise Music Scotland is dedicated to life-long learning and development and has a general remit for artistic excellence in Scotland. Through the Residency Project, EMS provides new Scottish based chamber ensembles unique development opportunities.
Each year a new ensemble joins the EMS Residency Project through open auditions before an invited assessment panel. EMS trains the young musicians with the mentoring help of established professionals over a period of two years. The programme culminates in a subsidised tour featuring a new piece of music specially commissioned for the players and helps promote high calibre new groups in Scotland.
If you are a new chamber music group and would like to register interest in the Residency Project contact Helen McVey on 0141 649 4957 or email dev.info@emusicscotland.co.uk
