Education and Outreach

Enterprise Music Scotland is dedicated to developing new audiences and providing access for younger listeners. Musicians involved with EMS-supported concerts are often actively involved in our education and outreach programmes.

Our education officer organises a large and growing number of workshops in community venues and schools, tailored to meet the requirements of the curriculum. We provide training for musicians who wish to improve their educational skills as well as resource packs for teachers.

Managed by Rachel Drury, Education Officer, our extensive outreach programme facilitates workshops and interactive concerts. An experienced music educator in her own right, Rachel liaises with schools, community venues and musicians to ensure the best chamber music can be performed in diverse settings.
